Kuzulu Beachhouse is a private villa with its own pool and garden, set back from the road in Plaka — close enough to walk to the sand, far enough to disappear into a green, private world of your own.
Built low and wide across two levels, Kuzulu keeps its distance from the road and turns its rooms toward the water instead. Every space — inside and out — was arranged for people who'd rather do nothing in particular, together.
The garden does most of the talking — silvery olive trees, herbs warming in the sun, grasses moving with the breeze — all grown in over the years into a lush, tended green around the pool.
A master bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom, opening directly onto the shared upper balcony — mornings here mean birdsong, greenery, and a glimpse of the horizon above the treetops.
The second master bedroom mirrors the first — private en-suite, balcony access, and the same quiet, leafy outlook, with the birds usually starting before you do.
Down on the main level, a third bedroom with a double bed and a full-sized pull-out mattress, plus its own bathroom close by — ideal for kids, friends, or anyone who turns in early.
An open living space with built-in couches runs into the kitchen and dining table, then straight out to the pool — the natural centre of gravity once everyone's up.
The outdoor area is where most of the holiday happens: an overflow pool framed by loungers, and a shaded table for long, unhurried dinners beneath a canopy of palm leaves that rustle overhead. Beside the outdoor shower, one corner has grown into a little tropical garden.
A sink and worktop, a proper barbecue, and a wine fridge mean you rarely need to go back inside once the sun starts to drop.
Set back from Plaka's long stretch of sand, with Naxos Town and restaurants a short drive away when you feel like venturing out.
Check-in from 3:00pm, check-out by 10:00am. Earlier or later by arrangement whenever the calendar allows.
Full refund up to 30 days before arrival — plans change, and the policy tries to make room for that.
Fly into Naxos direct, or take the ferry from Athens (Piraeus) or Mykonos — both run several times a day in season.
